The Book Geek Gauntlet.
Wearing this makes me way too happy for my own good.
I've been looking for way to use up the innards of the books I've destroyed (it does make me feel guilty, you know) to make my Book Bags, so here's one way.
I cut out a passage, laminate it and sew it into an Awesome Gauntlet of Geek Power -- this one is from The Long Secret, from the scene where Beth Ellen (very understandably) freaks out:
Then she opened the door and slammed it. She opened it again and slammed it again. She didn't even know what she was doing. It's not fair. It's not fair. It's not fair. She heard only that. Over and over and over. The slamming door rand out like punctuation--a big bang period at the end of each phrase.
YAR!! I want a million of them, a different one for every day.
PS. Josh says that this is exactly why I didn't have friends in middle school.
