You'll be relieved to know...

...that Tom Cruise has denied having anything to do with Amazon dropping that anti-Scientology book.  (Because The Sun is such a reliable source of information.  I love that they have a "Bizarre USA" section.)

In other book challenge news:

• At Monday night's school board meeting, the Superintendent of the Ankeny, Iowa school system suggested that instead of voting on whether or not Tango will remain in the elementary school libraries, "that the board consider adopting a new selection process for library materials, and that any new process take into consideration age-appropriateness of materials. He also suggested that while new procedures are being discussed, all books and other materials should remain in place and not be restricted in any way."  Makes sense to me.
• Also in Iown, Jay Asher's Thirteen Reasons Why has sparked a bit of controversy.  I had no idea that high school teachers read aloud to their classes.
