Three pre-work bits.

• So, the Eclipse trailer made me LITERALLY feel queasy:

I found myself hoping that they'd change the ending and that Victoria would just eviscerate Bella.  My guess is that Kristen Stewart feels the same way.

• The Guardian has posted a gallery of 10 of the best heroes from children's fiction.  It was more varied than I would've thought, but I'm sure that everyone has their own personal list.  As I have Diana Wynne Jones on the brain, Sophie Hatter would be on mine.  And Simon, Jane & Barney from the Dark is Rising series.
• Not book-related, but:  Our dog just chased a rafter* of turkeys out of the yard and into the woods.  Considering that she's a quarter of their size, I thought it was a pretty impressive display.  Of course, then I had to haul my butt down the hill and into the woods to bring her back, but the whole thing was still pretty great.  (She didn't catch any of them.  That would have been much less fun.)
