This Is The Country

I've read exactly one of these books, and it was so outstanding that a patron brought it back yesterday (I had recommended it to her last week) and I was so happy that she liked it that I jumped up and down.  In the library.  At the circulation desk.  I jumped up and down.  It's a perfect book.

I've been meaning to read the McEwan, the Mantel, the Lewycka and the Barnes.  But I haven't yet.  In the Fold has a really good cover.  I'll have to add it to the TBR list.

Have I mentioned that the fabulous Cloud Atlas was shortlisted for the Booker last year?  Yet another reason to read it.
