Yet another book I must read.

From The Boston Globe:

The introduction for the book sets the tone. It is, fittingly, written by the Village People, authors of that epic '80s theme song ''YMCA," who economically summarize the book's transcendence of religion. ''When we were asked to write the foreword of this book we were both honored and a little confused," the band wrote. ''First of all, while we are all artists with a wide array of creative talents, none of us is an author. Second, none of us had a Bar Mitzvah. Third, not one of us is even Jewish."
