Carroll County brings back another book. Sort of.

From The Baltimore Sun:

A day after deciding to return a banned book to Carroll County high school libraries, the superintendent has also decided to return a second novel, Born Too Short: The Confessions of an Eighth-Grade Basket Case, to high schools, but not middle schools.

Looks like challenging/banning books is a pretty regular occurance in that school district:

Another book that was challenged last year, Inside Out, by Terry Trueman, will remain on the shelves of high school and middle school libraries, Ecker said.

...

Decisions about three other books that the ACLU questioned this week will remain unchanged, Ecker said. They are Leaving Disneyland by Alexander Parsons, The Beet Fields by Gary Paulsen, and Whistle Me Home by Barbara Wersba, which have been completely or partially banned in the past three years.
