The Thief Lord movie.

For me, the only thing that prevented The Thief Lord from being an utter disappointment was the dedication:

TO ROLF -- AND TO BOB HOSKINS, WHO LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE VICTOR

Imagining Victor as Bob Hoskins all the way through the book just made me happy. 

Guess who isn't playing Victor in the movie???  How depressing.
