Jigs & Reels: Stories -- Joanne Harris

I thoroughly enjoyed this collection.  Some of the stories were stronger than others, but overall, I was a fan.  I'll very definitely be continuing my Harris kick.

My favorites:

'Gastronomicon':  Joanne Harris does Lovecraft.  Rad.  (And really funny.)

'Al and Christine's World of Leather':  A nice little love story with a dash of revenge.

'Last Train to Dogtown':  This would have made a perfect Twilight zone episode -- an author is confronted by his forgotten characters.

'Tea with the Birds':  A quiet little story.  I liked it.

'Waiting for Gandalf':  This was my favorite story.  Hands down.  Late middle-aged live-action gamers.  So wonderful.  There are some days that I think I'd like to join them.

'Any Girl can be a CandyKiss Girl!':  Sad, but true.  Little girls dress like hoochies.

'Fish':  A story about the power of food.  I can't decide if it gave me the creeps or not.  It made me decide that I really do need to read Chocolat
