Savannah students banned from having the time of their life.

From the Savannah Morning News:

The proposed regulations are designed to clarify policy for student performances and to help principals and student activity coordinators make decisions about what is - or is not - appropriate for public performances.

The regulations specifically would say that band performances must be "wholesome."

"The Savannah-Chatham County Public School Board does not tolerate any routine that could be perceived as lewd or obscene," the policy revision states. "If there is any doubt as to whether or not a movement is acceptable, it should be eliminated from the routine."

I hope the ankle-length skirts won't get in the way of their high kicks.
