A double whammy.

I fell off the literary fiction train so long ago that I don't think I'll ever catch it again, but for everyone else:  The Booker Prize and the Nobel Prize winners have been announced.

Am I the only person on the planet who found Goodnight Mister Tom amazingly, amazingly overwrought?  Also, Sara Crewe kind of makes me barf.

That totally makes me a bad person, doesn't it?  Damn.
