Excellent precedent setting on Superintendent's part.
Or not.
Even though there was an alternate book available, even though a waiver had to be signed to participate, and even though he hadn't read the book in its entirety, Superintendent Rob Cordes pulled the book What's Eating Gilbert Grape from Carroll High School's literature-to-film class curriculum after one parent complained about the content.
Wheeeee. Way to go.
