If Ann Hodgman kept a journal while she was working as a Nancy Drew ghostwriter, I'd love to read it.  This little tidbit alone decided me:  "I so dreaded writing love scenes between Ned and Nancy that I once put him in the hospital for an entire book."

Sounds much better than the book she's reviewing, no?
