Auuugh.

I had no idea that Matt Christopher was dead -- or that he died in 1997.

I knew, of course, that V.C. Andrews has been dead for like, my whole life*, even though her books just keep coming and coming** (according to the Wikipedia entry, she only wrote eight of her 50+ novels), and that Robert Ludlum still has books coming out, though the publisher at least acknowledges the fact that he didn't write 'em.

Anyway, yuck.
