My fantasy kick continues.

Or has started?  Whatever.  At the moment, I'm loving the fantasy.

I started The Onion Girl by Charles de Lint last night and immediately picked it up again when I woke up this morning.  I'm about two hundred pages in and I really didn't want to put it down.

Stupid job.

I'm embarrassed to admit that it's the first de Lint I've read.  The introduction made it clear that I should've picked him up ages ago -- he thanks Andrew Vachss and mentions listening to Greg Brown, Steve Earle and Slaid Cleaves.

Anyway, HOO-ray.  There are few things better than discovering a new author who has a large-ish backlist.
