Blame Mr. Rogers.

Supposedly, Mr. Rogers is to blame for self-centered young adults.

I really don't see him as being "representative of a culture of excessive doting."  Yes, Mr. Rogers told us we were special.  He also taught us about communication, responsibility and the importance of empathy and sympathy.

BAH.  BAH!!
