Book is guilty until proven innocent in Mississippi.

From the Sun Herald:

The Library Board is scheduled, at its September meeting, to decide the fate of a best-selling novel by comedian Jim Norton which was pulled from the shelves of the Jackson-George Regional Library System because of a patron's complaint.

The Library System Director Michael Hamlett received the complaint from a reader in Ocean Springs who said the book, "Happy Endings: The Tales of a Meaty-Breasted Zilch," is obscene.

You know, if I had delicate sensibilities and was trying to avoid books that might offend them, I'd probably skip the books written by self-described perverts.
