2007 Canadian Children's Book Centre Awards announced.

The winner of the Canadian Children's Lit award is Odd Man Out, by Sarah Ellis.

I've read exactly one of the books on the entire list.  One.

And, honestly?  That's the only one that I'm familiar with.  I don't know if I should chalk that up to my own slack or to our strange lack of press about Canadian books in the States.  (I know I've talked about it before, so I won't go into it yet again, but it continues to strike me as Just. So. Weird.)
