MORE books I'm looking forward to this year.
After looking at all of the other lists out there (and reading the comments on my first list), here are a bunch I can't believe I missed:
Those Who Went There Remain There Still, Cherie Priest -- Yep. Another author who falls into the She Writes, I Read category.
Forever Rose, Hilary McKay -- Duh.
Suite Scarlett, Maureen Johnson -- It's by Maureen Johnson. Also, it looks (and sounds) awesome.
Andromeda Klein, Frank Portman -- Rumor has it, the 2009 date at Amazon is a big fat lie. Here's hoping.
The Life and Times of Bernetta Wallflower, Lisa Graff -- You know how I occasionally read books because they have great covers? Well, same goes for titles.
A la Carte, Tanita Davis -- Oh TadMack, my dear darling TadMack... Can you ever forgive me for missing you on my first go-round?
Skulduggery Pleasant: Playing With Fire, Derek Landy -- I can't get enough of this dapper skeleton detective.
A Curse as Dark as Gold, Elizabeth C. Bunce -- Cover. Also, everybody who has read it is freaking out.
Ink Exchange, Melissa Marr -- Same world as Wicked Lovely. I'm there.
The Poison Apples, Lily Archer -- The cover! Oh, god, the COVER. Gorgeous.
Carpe Diem, Autumn Cornwell -- Again with the cover. Feiwel & Friends must have someone really fantastic working in their design department.
Sovay, Celia Rees -- A highwayman. Who's a GIRL!
The Luxe (and if I like it, Rumors), Anna Godbersen -- I've been meaning to read The Luxe since it came out. Now you tell me there's a sequel??
Gary Schmidt, EVERYTHING -- That's not a book title. I mean I need to read all of his books.
Kitty Kitty, Michele Jaffe -- What perfect timing. I just read the first one and now I can't wait, can't wait, can't wait, can't wait for the second!
Greetings from Nowhere, Barbara O'Connor -- I adored Beethoven in Paradise.
Ever, Gail Carson Levine -- Oh, wait. I still haven't gotten around to reading Fairest. I'll read that too.
Lavinia, Ursula K. Le Guin -- Uh... it's by Ursula K. Le Guin.
House of Many Ways, Diana Wynne Jones -- Actually, I'm way behind on my DWJ. Need to work on that.
You Know Where to Find Me, Rachel Cohn -- I'm kind of scared of it, but I'm there regardless.
Rapunzel's Revenge, Shannon and Dean Hale -- As Miss Erin said, "Bring it."
No dates, but I'm still hoping: Octavian Nothing: Part Two and John Green's Paper Towns and the sequel to Skin Hunger.
