Tiny little roundup.
• Third time's the charm for Idaho book challenger, at the moment.
• Now Alexander McCall Smith really will be everywhere. No 1 Ladies Detective Agency will, at some point, be coming to a television near you. Relatedly, who are the authors that you just can't read? Not for any real reason, even, other than you just look at the books and say, "Uhhh, no, not for me, thanks." Two of mine, off the top of my head: Alexander McCall Smith and James Patterson. (To be fair, I know why I can't read them. It's because EVERY TIME I TURN AROUND, THEY PUBLISH A NEW BOOK.)
• Tilda Swinton hates Harry Potter because it "fetishizes boarding school for children". I wonder how she feels about Enid Blyton. (via Read Roger)
