XOXO.

It's all Gossip Girl, all the time around here:

In Leesburg, Florida, a concerned mother has been trying to get a book from the Gossip Girl series (as well as The Bermudez Triangle by the ever-lovely and ever-hilarious Maureen Johnson) yanked from the YA section of her local public library since August.  She says:

"I'm optimistic because it's such common sense," she said. "It's not a gray area. It is black and white. It's so distasteful for youths. It's so farfetched that we would allow this to happen in the first place."

I think this one is black and white, too.  Just the other way around.  Also, I kind of think it's not necessarily "distasteful for youths".  I think it's more that it's distasteful to her.  But, you know.  That's just my take.
