1. As I said on Twitter last night, if I happened to be a cop in the Crystal Lake area, I would never, ever, ever go anywhere without at least 47 SWAT teams.

1a. Also, I would move somewhere safer.

1b. But if I couldn't move away, I would, at least, after defeating Jason, NOT JUST CHUCK HIS BODY INTO THE LAKE. I would totally have a bonfire. I'd like to see him attack me from inside a funerary urn.
