The Fforde is on my RIGHT AFTER THE CYBILS pile (which is achieving epic proportions).  He and I have a pretty hit-or-miss relationship, but I generally always at least give his new ones a try.  I'm not familiar with the Kessler/Kittredge title, though I believe that it's the second in a series.
