First Page...

...continues to be, hands down, my favorite feature at Dear Author.

(If you aren't familiar with it, every Saturday some brave soul sends in the first page of an unpublished manuscript for the DA readers to critique.  I imagine that the feedback could be really helpful, due to the lack of punch-pulling, but probably also occasionally REALLY painful.)
