Please don't forget...

...to check out (and hopefully support) the book fair that Guys Lit Wire is currently co-sponsoring for the students of Ojo Encino Day School and Alchesay High School.  These kids not only need books -- as the Ojo Encino librarian said, "In their lives, they really don’t have new books" -- but they want them*.  I know that even as a empty-pocketed librarian, I can afford to skip a coffee or two** to send them one or two or three.  I'm thinking that a lot of you guys can, too.

Click on through for more information about the students who'll be benefiting from the fair, check out the wishlists, do some good, and share your lurrrve of books.  (And if you're going to order, be sure to read the instructions carefully -- every system has its quirks.)

*And they had loads of input about what went on the wishlist.  Which I think is especially cool, as they'll be getting books that they're already eager to read!

**Well, in my case, I'll just skip a brownie or two.  Coffee is gross.  And it makes me scary hyper.
