The Red Riding Hood trailer has been released...

...and it looks terrible (like, laughably so, with what sounds like an especially KStew-esque deadpan performance from Amanda Seyfried (who WE ALL KNOW can be way adorable and fun (Hello, Lily "I know, right? Why would someone kill me? I was awesome." Kane! I miss you!)) and a young male lead who is actually being introduced in magazine interviews as The Guy Who Almost Got The Edward Cullen Role, so, even if the entire trailer -- and choice of director -- didn't already make it clear that this is an attempt to cash in on Twilight, the marketing people were nice enough to make it really, really obvious):

The Guardian has helped to soothe my pain by mocking it mercilessly, so that kind of made it all worthwhile.
