The literary agency that went unnamed in "Say Yes to Gay YA" by Rachel Manija Brown and Sherwood Smith has come forward with their side of the story:

Let me repeat this: there is nothing in that article concerning our response to their manuscript that is true.

The comments section is, of course, very much worth reading.
