Afternoon links.
- "I also don't like fashists [sic]. I think that they are like a cult religion who the man belongs to." Sadly, I have no way of reproducing the hearts that dot the 'i's. (via boingboing and @kurthartwig)
- Note to self: Self, please remember to get around to buying Cards Against Humanity. Thanks. Oh, while you're at it, get Gloom, too.
- At the HuffPo: NYC to Name School in Honor of Maurice Sendak.
- There's a follow-up to Susan Hill's The Woman in Black in the works, but it's not by Susan Hill. Which seems weird, considering that she's, you know, alive. She's totally in favor of the project, though, so who am I to question the decision?
- At the Guardian: Oliver Twist to turn crime fighter in Hollywood reinvention. Could they POSSIBLY pick a wimpier character to superhero-ize?
- Amigurumi pattern: The Very Hungry Catepillar. This was posted at Instructables last year, but who cares, because it's awesome! I saw it... somewhere. Damn, I lost the original link. Sorry to the original linker!
- At the YALSA blog: Awards, Lists, Reviews and Readers’ Advisory Possibilities: It’s Not Just One Big Chocolate Shop.
- Another tumblr to follow: Librarian Problems. Tagline: "I'll Dewey Your Decimal." Ahahahaha!
- Something I didn't mention about Looper in yesterday's post: GARRET DILLAHUNT IS IN IT! YESSSSSSSSS.
