FINALLY!

Finally, Me and Earl and the Dying Girl has gotten THE PARTY IT DESERVES!

Yes, the 2012 Cybils have been announced, and Greg, Earl, and Rachel scooped up the YA Award.

I can't even tell you how loudly I shrieked; Josh thought I'd broken a bone or something.

AND THAT'S NOT ALL! Steve Sheinkin's Bomb won the nonfiction award, Jennifer Nielsen's The False Prince won the MG SF/F award, and Faith Erin Hicks' Friends with Boys won the YA GN category. (I didn't list the picture books and whatnot, click on through for those!)

SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

AND LOOK: I'VE TOTALLY WON THE CYBILS TWO YEARS IN A ROW! (<--I'm ONLY JOKING, of course! But it IS super-exciting to see the book you nominated win.) *happy dances until the cats run out of the room* 

I'm going to go and make some celebratory scrambled eggs.
