Bad Librarian?

I've had this exact conversation at least three times a week for the past two weeks:

Patron: I'm wondering if you have this new book, I forget what it's called...

Me: The Fault in Our Stars? Yes, we have it, but it's checked out. Would you like me to put it on hold for you?

Patron: *blinks* YES. Yes, that's it! How did you do that?

Me: I'm magic.

I have not been wrong a single time.
