Two challenge updates.
- Sherman Alexie's Absolutely True Diary of a Part-time Indian will stay in the library and the curriculum of North Carolina's Cedar Grove Middle School. Read the challenge committee's official findings here.
And, in addition to And Tango Makes Three, The White Swan Express, and Who’s In My Family?, the NLB has removed three Robie Harris titles from libraries in Singapore. The Harris books were removed—unlike the other three, which were pulled because a single patron complained that they were "not "pro-family""—because an internal review found them to be age-inappropriate.
