ROMANCE UPDATE.
WARNING: I AM ALL ABOUT THE CAPS RIGHT NOW.
I HAVE FINISHED ALL OF THE SARAH MACLEAN BOOKS.
I HAVE NOW MOVED ON TO TESSA DARE.
I AM DYING OF HAPPY.
TOTALLY THE RIGHT CHOICE.
SMART AND SO SO FUNNY AND PLENTY OF SEXYTIMES.
(so funny that i fully admit to following josh around the house with my kindle and reading the dialogue aloud to him. AND SOMETIMES HE EVEN LAUGHED.)
(but then also there was this morning, when he walked into the living room and found me reading upside-down on the couch—like, with my head hanging down by the floor and my feet slung over the back—and he was all, WHAT HAVE I DONE TO DESERVE THIS and i was all, CLEARLY SOMETHING WONDERFUL IN A PAST LIFE and he just HMMMMPHed himself into the kitchen and made himself an onion omelet because he likes onion omelets even though gross who likes onion omelets)
(mostly i am not reading especially critically but it's hard to turn that part of my brain off so i have noticed that while tessa dare and sarah maclean are both somewhat fond of the velvet-over-steel descriptor for a dude's YOU KNOW WHAT, tessa dare also talks about an other certain part of male anatomy—in our household we use the word 'cubes', as in "watch out, or you might get kicked in the cubes"—while sarah maclean does not.)
HERE'S A BRIEF SYNOPSIS:
THERE WAS ALSO A SECONDARY CHARACTER BLUESTOCKING GIRL WHO HIT THE HERO OVER THE HEAD WITH A BACK OF ROCKS (SHE'S A GEOLOGIST) AND ALSO CHALLENGED A DIFFERENT SOLDIER TO A DUEL. (HE'S A RAKISH ASS, AND THEY'RE THE STARS OF THE NEXT BOOK, NATURALLY.)
THE THIRD ONE IS ABOUT A DIFFERENT SECONDARY CHARACTER MUSICIAN GIRL AND A DIFFERENT SECONDARY CHARACTER BROODING SOLDIER GUY AND I WANT THEM ALL IN MY EYEBALLS. RIGHT NOW.
Okay, even *I* am getting caps-overload now. Thank you for bearing with me.
