Banned Books Week, 2009.

Here's the wicked dorky picture of yours truly that will be part of our BBW display this year:

All of those books next to me (and behind me, and on the arm of the couch) are books I've read that have been challenged in this country at some point over the last five years.

(Well, they're the ones that happened to be checked in at the time of the photo.)
