Recommendations needed!

A friend needs help! List 'em in the comments and I will compile:

If you can think of a book that positively portrays female friendships but does not have any sex, violence, or otherwise controversial issues included, I will give you a quarter. I have to be able to recommend it to freshmen and sophomores in high school without anyone getting mad at me.

Addendum: From what I understand, fantasy is out, but nonfiction is acceptable. But some fantasy is apparently okay, so if you've got a good one, list it anyway.
