Entertaining lobotomies.

This morning, I read the prologue to The Lobotomist--the next non-fiction book on my list--and I ran across one of my favorite Tom Waits quotes (and believe me, there are many):

"I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy."

The man has a way with words, to say the very least.  (The book looks really good.  For anyone that was a fan of Session 9--and who wasn't?--there's a picture of the Danvers Asylum on the cover).
