USD 345 board members Monday considered a parent's request to remove Lisa Westberg Peters' book "Our Family Tree: An Evolution Story," from the library at Indian Hills Elementary School.

The parent wanted the book to be moved into the teacher's reading library instead.

Board members followed the recommendation of a district committee and unanimously rejected the request.
