2006 Book Sense Book of the Year Awards.

Color me unimpressed.

I liked The Historian well enough, but Best Book of the Year?  Nope.

And regardless of how much hate mail I get, I continue to dislike Cornelia Funke.  (But really, how cute are those little Leila-haters?  I love it that they're so into books!  It just makes my usually crotchety librarian-heart happy.)
