Didn't the Pretty Little Liars book series end?

Oh, wait. I finished reading the (very short) news item after writing the above.

It did end.

But since the show has been so popular, Sara Shepard is writing four more books.

So, should I Netflix the first season? I watched the first few episodes, but I didn't keep up -- mostly because they were following the book so closely that I already knew most of the twists, and so it wasn't keeping my interest...
